* The New River Chapter, MOAA has held our regular, monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at various locations, including when we plan our special events .
* Regular meetings are held from May through December, unless otherwise decided by the Board of Directors. A meeting notice is electronically mailed to members at least 15 days in advance.
* The August meeting is our annual summer picnic; the October meeting is the annual membership meeting and a December meeting is our holiday social.
* SPECIAL NOTICE: In 2020, the building which housed the Hotel Tavern in West Jefferson, NC was purchased and the new owners announced plans to totally renovate the building as a historic hotel. As such, the Hotel Tavern is no more. Stay tuned for information which will be published on this website sharing information about a new meeting location for our regular meetings of the New River Chapter!
