* In 2017, the New River Chapter, MOAA started holding meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at the Hotel Tavern in West Jefferson, NC except for months during which special events were planned, as noted below.
* Regular meetings are held from May through November, unless otherwise decided by the Board of Directors. A meeting notice will be electronically mailed to members at least 15 days in advance.
* The August meeting will be our annual summer picnic; the October meeting will be the annual membership meeting to announce officers and review the Chapter's by-laws; and a November meeting is our holiday social.
